I'm a writing and riding enthusiast who loves animals, reading, and nerding out about microbiology. I've been writing stories since I was old enough to wield a pencil. I've lived in seven states, but California was home.

Some of my favorite authors are Marguerite Henry, Bruce Coville, Guy Gavriel Kay, David Gemmel, and Mary Stanton.  I love fantasy and adventure, especially when horses are involved!
